Entropy
A simplified estimate based on character variety and length only — it doesn't detect dictionary words or predictable patterns ("password1", "azerty123"...).
Estimated crack time
Average-case estimate (half the search space), assuming the attacker has to guess blindly — not applicable if the password was reused and already leaked (see below).
Known-breach check
Checked against Have I Been Pwned's Pwned Passwords database (free, public) using k-anonymity: only the first 5 characters of the password's SHA-1 hash are sent — the full password and full hash never leave your browser.
