Context
During the apprenticeship at Génie Flexion, management was weighing whether to bring part of security governance in-house rather than relying solely on an external provider, especially after lessons learned from a 4G/5G network incident.
What was done
Conducted an applied research dissertation: total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis of in-house security governance, a structured lessons-learned review of the 4G/5G incident, and a proof-of-concept dashboard visualizing key security indicators. The dashboard was designed with GDPR by design principles from the outset.
Result
Delivered a working PoC dashboard, handed management a quantified TCO analysis, and documented a reusable GDPR-by-design methodology.
